Imani Iona Wright - Liberty Eylau High School

Imani Wright is a 6'0" Guard that plays for Liberty Eylau High School.  Her favorite sports to watch is basketball and Track/Field and her favorite athlete to watch play is Diana Taurasi.  Imani said that her favorite hobby is drawing and playing the drums.  Her favorite movie is "Love and Basketball", her favorite food is shrimp, her favorite class in school is Chemistry and her favorite music is Rap, Hip Hop, and Gospel.

Imani said that her goal as a high school player is to obtain a college scholarship so that she can get a college education.  She said that her long time goal is to someday play in the WNBA.  She said that she is undecided on where she would like to play college basketball, that she is keeping all options open.  Imani said that if she could go any where in the world it would be to an exotic island like the Turks or the Caicos in the Caribbean and relax on the beach.  Her role model in life is her Mom.

Imani is very athletic and a solid all-around player.  Her offensive game is superb and has shooting range to 21 feet.  She is an excellent ball handler and her speed and quickness is one of her main assets.  Her teams colors are Cardinal and White and the team mascot is the Leopards.  She is coached by Robert Cochran.  Click Here to view the Leopards schedule on the MaxPreps website.
