th Annual
Mansfield Spring Creek Invitational brought many of the better teams in the state together for a 3-day basketball extravaganza that featured a plethora of top matchups.
Mansfield Timberview – Timberview has played with an edge all season and winning the championship 49-34 over a talented McKinney team was another step in the team’s march towards a potential state championship. 2018 Virginia Commonwealth signee
Lauryn Thompson has been the most consistent and productive post in the metroplex throughout the season. 2019’s

Mikayla Hutchinson help form one of the most complete rosters in the state.
McKinney – McKinney has continually improved all season. After winning a tough first round matchup with South Grand Prairie, McKinney had perhaps its most impressive win of the season in defeating perennial state power Canyon 50-35 in the semifinals. Led by a strong senior class in New Mexico signee

Erin Fry – McKinney is going to be very dangerous come playoff time.
Allen – Allen has been ascending throughout the season and had a nice run in finishing third. Beating Canyon 48-44 in the third-place game should not be overlooked and gives Allen a lot of confidence as they get back to district play. Led by 2018 Wichita State signee

Canyon – Word to the wise, NEVER TRUST CANYON. When not playing, head coach Joe Lombard sits at the top of the stands and scouts the potential metroplex matchups come playoff time. Lombard is one of the best to ever do it and should never be underestimated. Watch for the development of 2021
Bella Hayden whose older sister Angel is a freshman at Texas Tech and was one of the great high school players in state history.
Amarillo – The prototypical West Texas team that can flat shoot it. With six seniors and ascending 2020 prospect
Zayla Tinner, Amarillo will be a tough out come playoff time.
Arlington Bowie – Led by sharpshooting 2018 North Texas signee
Jasmyne Robinson who is complemented by 2019
MaLay McQueen and 2021 ascending prospect
Nya Harmon – Bowie is perimeter oriented and well coached. Look for Bowie to make a nice run as district play heats up.
Prosper – WATCH OUT for Prosper. Prosper sent a message in losing to Timberview 56-55 in the quarterfinals. 2019 Baylor commit
Jordyn Oliver and 2018 Yale signee
Mackenzie Hewitt form one of the best backcourts in the state. Oliver has had a terrific season and has the ability to take over the biggest of games as the season progresses.
Crowley - Led by the dynamic playmaking of 2018 Southeast Missouri commit

Avery Brittingham, Crowley is poised to make some real noise come playoff time.

Sarah Andrews (Irving MacArthur) – SUPERSTAR. In the conversation amongst the top point guards in the national class; When engaged defensively, she is the top defender of the elite point guards.

Jewel Spear (The Colony) – High level prospect with well-rounded offensive game. Along with 2020 Tamia Jones forms one of the backcourt duos in the state.

Tamia Jones (The Colony) – Continues to improve. Athletic and can shoot. Ultra-competitive. Ascending prospect.

Harmoni Turner (Mansfield Legacy) – BIG TIME PLAYER. Has continued to refine her game; Ultra-aggressive and competitive.

London Clarkson (Pflugerville) – Good size with mobility and terrific activity. Extremely competitive. Ascending prospect in the class.

Dajinae McCarty (Cedar Hill) – I’ve always been a “DJ” fan. Competitive and can flat play.
2020
Tommisha Lampkin (Mansfield Summit) – Terrific blend of size and athleticism. As skill continues to develop has a chance to become a monster.
2021
Rori Harmon (Cypress Creek) – WHEEW!! Small, skilled, and an absolute blur with the ball. Ultra-competitive. Harmon and 2021 Kyndall Hunter form one of the best young backcourts in the state.

Kyndall Hunter (Cypress Creek) – Excellent athlete with excellent court vision, especially in the open court. Along with Rori Harmon, a MUST SEE for any fan or coach.

Jordyn Newsome (Irving MacArthur) – Ascending prospect. Continues to improve. Alongside Andrews, forms one of the best young backcourts in the state.

Amber Bacon (South Grand Prairie) – SMU signee is one of the better perimeter defenders in the class. Has improved as a playmaker on the offensive end.

Diamond Willcot (South Grand Prairie) – Abilene Christian signee has improved her mid-range game to add to her versatility and size on the wing. Good two-way player.

Uchenna Nwoke (South Grand Prairie) – Duke signee has elite size in the paint. Opportunity to develop into very good low post defender at the next level.

Destiny Thurman (Arlington Lamar) – One of the better unsigned guards left in the state. Puts up 20+ pts per game every time I see her.

Tailor Broussard (Irving MacArthur) – Big time athlete. If the skill continues to improve, watch out.

Raija Todd (Cedar Hill) – Possibly the best unsigned pure shooter left in the state. DO NOT leave her open.

Taylor Hutchins (Cedar Hill) – Taylor was injured and did not play. Cedar Hill really missed her versatility and rebounding presence.

Kamryn Arrington (South Grand Prairie) – Versatile with good size on the perimeter. Good 2-way player.

Camryn Hill (South Grand Prairie) – Good mixture of size and athleticism on the wing. As skill continues to develop – watch out.

Arieona Rosborough (Mansfield Lake Ridge) – Athletic with a nice skill set. Definitely caught my eye.

Ariele Rosborough (Mansfield Lake Ridge) – Athletic and active on the perimeter.

Myra Francis (Mansfield Lake Ridge) – Athletic guard with easy 3-ball range.

Britney Onyeje (Pflugerville) – Central Florida signee. Very good blend of size, athleticism, and emerging skill.

Starr Omozee (Pflugerville) – Incarnate Word signee brings size and athleticism to the wing. Has a chance to become a “franchise” player at IWU.

D’Asia Collins (Cypress Ranch) – West Florida signee is a skilled pure point guard; Really good in transition and defensively pressuring the ball.

Callie Boyles (Denton Guyer) – Ascending prospect is long and increasingly skilled. Improves every time I see her.
