Many college prospects from Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, and Kansas gathered for the Dan Olson ESPNW Hoopgurlz Exposure Plus Showcase in Amarillo, TX on Sunday, March 20, 2016. The event was attended by some of the top scouting services in the country including Mark Williams and Ron Powell with Premier Basketball Report, Dan Olson with Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and ESPN Hoopgurlz), and Harry Elifson with Preferred Athlete Scouting Services. The event included skills sessions with highly respected trainers Shane Wagner and Joe Crawford as well as open run style games.
2020 5’6”
Serin Dunne stood out amongst a very talented field. A lefty, Dunne led with her right hand when attacking the defense. She showed an excellent pull-up jumper off the dribble. Dunne has easy three-point range both off the dribble and off the catch. She has great vision and excelled in getting the ball to teammates for easy baskets. Dunne did a good job defending the ball in one-on-one situations.
2017 5’8”
Addison Meeker showed a nice all-around offensive game. Meeker is a terrific shooter off the catch and off the dribble from both the mid-range and the three. She used her strength to finish through contact to compliment her shooting ability. 2017 5’10”
Addison Foster has easy three-point range and showed nice handles and an ability to get to the rim off of her shot. Foster is a heady defender who plays the passing lanes well. 2017 5’5”
Taber Beer is a floor general who penetrates the defense and finds open teammates for easy shots. Beer’s ability to hit the three kept the defense honest. She did a good job of keeping opponents in front of her on defense.
2018 6’0”
Jenna Cooper is a versatile player. She shot the three well and when smaller players guarded her, used her strong frame to post up and get easy looks. Cooper is a very good defensive rebounder. 2018 5’9”
Conley Niblett hit multiple threes and showed a gritty defensive effort. 2018 5’4”
Sam Henry is an explosive athlete and ball handler. Henry is proficient in changing speeds when attacking with the ball. She displayed terrific vision off the bounce leading to easy buckets for teammates. Henry is an extremely quick on-ball defender who can effectively pester opponents on the defensive end.
2019 5’11”
Kasey Neubert is a very good athlete with many talents. She was consistently the first one down the floor in transition and got easy looks because of it. Neubert finished through contact and over traffic with both hands on multiple occasions. She did a great job of understanding mismatches and getting quick post up looks when being guarded by smaller defenders. Neubert is a natural rebounder, who understands body positioning on the boards. 2019 5’7”
Regan Crawford is a heady point guard with a complete game. Crawford is a very good ball handler and passer off the dribble. She consistently made terrific decisions with the ball and is a good three-point shooter off the dribble. 2019 5’11”
Karley Miller showed an explosive first step mixed with the ability to shoot the ball from the three. She has an excellent combination of size, athleticism and skill. 2019
Desiree Pearson is a rugged on-ball defender who shot the ball well from the midrange. Pearson has an advanced floor game that translates well for such a young player.
2020 5’7”
Jana Van Gytenbeek is a playmaking point guard. Van Gytenbeek went toe-to-toe with fellow 2020 Serin Dunne and held her own. Her ability to break down the defense and create open shots for teammates is what made her stand out. Van Gytenbeek is a gritty defender who finds a way to make plays on both ends of the floor. 2021 5’10”
Cailee Crawford showed a very smooth stroke from all spots on the floor. Crawford used her length to finish in traffic and to contest shots on the defensive end. She came up with quite a few loose balls and showed a high basketball IQ for such a young player. 2021 5’5”
Delanie Crawford displayed an advanced offensive understanding and skill for her age. Crawford’s understanding of finding the open seams in the defense coupled with her ability to shoot the ball out to the three, make her a player to watch in the coming years. 2023 5’2”
Tiana Davis was the youngest and one of the most dynamic players at the camp. Davis is lightning quick with the ball, and held her own in all facets of the game, while playing with and against players two to three years older than her.
