2020 | 6'1 Forward | Cherry Creek HS | BC Denver
Evaluation (Shane Laflin):
My assessment is that there is no doubt Carly can catch and shoot the ball .. nice bounce to her shot with a smooth release, etc. She is a straight line driver, and by that I mean that change of direction against pressure/athletes could improve. She plays well out of the shot fake and the jab - very good things. I think that as she gains strength and works on her handle a bit, these things can be improved. Defensively, foot speed is average for the next level - good news being that she can use her length to give some space. This can be improved a bit through adding strength and some disciplined technique improvements. She doesn't try to play outside of her game .. also a good thing. Overall, a smart player who spaces the floor, does her job defensively, and helps the flow of the game … Great size on the wing. Will have several options.

Player/Family Comments:
"We were extremely pleased with your services in assisting our daughter committing to play college basketball next season. She was being lightly recruited prior to her senior season, on a very successful high school team in Colorado, defending 5A State champions, that featured two signed Division 1 players. We were fortunate enough to meet you in December 2019 at your national tournament [SHE GOT GAME Classic – DALLAS] in Mansfield. From there, your player evaluation of her was thorough, straight forward and accurate. Once her profile was submitted to your women’s college program list, Carly immediately received significant interest from schools across the country. This interest resulted in multiple offers for her consideration. The end result was her committing to Fort Hays State University, a very successful D2 college program, where they have earned a berth in the NCAA tournament in 5 of their past 6 seasons. Please feel free to use me as a reference for prospective players/families considering your services.
Thank you again for your work on behalf of our daughter." Regards, Bill Thompson.
