The PRIME event Finals have come and gone and did not disappoint. Held at the Mansfield Fieldhouse August 20-21, we hosted 60+ teams from 15 states.
We had 17U Showcase games, 15U and 16U Brackets, and also some 15U and 16U Showcase pools. The event brought teams from the Nike EYBL, Under Armour Up Next Circuit, adidas 3SSB, and the Select 40 as well as some truly independent teams. The vibe was competitive and celebratory as people from across the country were able to connect and share some time in the gym.
Dallas Mavericks Head Coach Jason Kidd joined us to watch games for the second year in a row.
We were able to lock in on some teams and players that we had not seen as up close and personal throughout the spring and July periods. We found some young up and comers, some stock risers, and some sleepers that will see their development and recruitment take a rise in the coming months.
The great thing about the gathering of these teams from across the country and circuits is the contrast in styles and because of the lack of familiarity, teams really have to lock in and game plan.
15U Final
Wisconsin Lakers 25/26 White - 54 vs Elevate Elite 3SSB 2025 - 58
The was a game of contrasting styles - dribble drive vs player movement/shooting.
Elevate Elite's athleticism and depth defensively was the difference in a closely fought and well played game. They really turned the defensive pressure up in the 2nd half. Caliyah Devillassee and Olivia Hilliard made some big time shots in the last two minutes. Kayla Washington, Amirah Anderson and 2026 Sanai Green impacted the game as well.
The WI Lakers program is known for terrific execution and fundamental skill - especially their shooting. They do a great job at exploiting matchups as everyone can post up/play in paint depending on the matchup.
2026s Natalie Kussow, Taylor Gifford, Vanessa Johnson, and 2025 Maddie Jensen were particularly impressive in the championship game.
Elevate Elite's coaching staff strategizes in a timeout.
2026 Sanai Green is one of the best in her class in the country.
16U Final - OVERTIME

The Miami Suns led this one after three quarters, but the Alabama Southern Starz found a way to take it to OT and come out with the W.
It was an up and down game and both teams have players and athletes that made outstanding plays throughout. 2024 Jordan Hunter hit a runner as time expired to win it for Alabama.
2025 Ace Austin, 2024's Syriah Daniels, Tamya Smith, and Zyriah Price were impressive in the championship game
The Miami Suns were very strong throughout tournament with versatility throughout their lineup.
2024 Eris Lester, Emely Rodriguez, Kayla Nelms, 2025 Jade Jones stood out particularly.
2024 Eris Lester of the Miami Suns had a breakout weekend.
2024 Kayla Nelms of the Miami Suns is skilled and versatile with an old school smooth game.

It is hard to stay in front of 2025 Marcayla Johnson of the Banshees.
2025 Markeli Jones-Tynes of FGB is tough and finds ways to get paint touches.
Sasha Palmer is on the McDonal's All-American Committee and is an integral part of the FBC program.
